互联网媒体设备联盟（Internet Media Device Alliance Inc，简称IMDA）成立于2009年，致力于制定和推广一整套开放、可相互操作的标准和设备文件，使互联网媒体设备在全球消费市场中获得最大的发展。其指导委员会和成员包括全球领先的流媒体厂商，例如Awox、BBC、德国之声（Deutsche Welle）、欧洲广播联盟（the European Broadcasting Union）、Frontier Silicon、Global Radio、Pure、Reciva、SWR和vTuner。

为实现使命，IMDA开展了两大核心活动：
（1）定义一系列端对端技术标准、功能和文件，促进在一致性的基础上开发各种引人瞩目的互联网主流媒体设备，同时支持制造商和广播公司的均衡差异化。
（2）为成员组织提供企业对企业的营销支持，向消费者、潜在的成员和零售商推广互联网设备的概念。
