DASH Initiative即桌上型与可携式系统硬件架构倡议，是Desktop and mobile Architecture for System Hardware (DASH) Initiative的缩写。DASH倡议依据DMTF的网络服务标准而制定的规格，其目的在促进产业网管标准的统一，并为不同供货商之间的产品互操作性提供有效的解决方案。

The DMTF’s Desktop and mobile Architecture for System Hardware (DASH) Initiative is a suite of specifications that takes full advantage of the DMTF’s Web Services for Management (WS-Management) specification – delivering standards-based Web services management for desktop and mobile client systems. Through the DASH Initiative, the DMTF provides the next generation of standards for secure out-of-band and remote management of desktop and mobile systems.

The System Management Forum, part of DMTF's Interoperability Committee, develops and implements programs for verifying compliance of software and hardware that implement DMTF system management standards.

The DMTF welcomes feedback on our standards, but requires that individuals submitting comments first agree to our DMTF Feedback Policy. Note that current DMTF members should not use this feedback system - instead, submit feedback via email to the DMTF's Vice President of Technology.
