【产通社，10月17日】国际半导体设备与材料协会SEMI日前与硅谷太阳能科技协会SolarTech正式签署了一份合作协议，双方将共同努力，合作完善美国光伏产业链的各个环节，包括设备与原料的供应商，电池/模块的制造商，以及光伏系统安装、政府和公共事业体系。

SEMI执行副总裁Dan Martin表示，“这份合作协议将有利于SolarTech和SEMI会员公司实现全球性发展。SEMI将协助SolarTech进一步扩大市场，与此同时，SEMI会员公司以及其客户也将对产业链的重要性加深理解和认识。”

SolarTech业务运营总监Doug Payne则表示，“SolarTech的使命在于，开展行业标准，加速光伏产业发展。此次SolarTech / SEMI的合作将提升各自会员公司的价值，提供最具价值的产业透视。”

此份备忘录的重点在于行业标准的制定，尤其是级别、电池和模块的安全性、性能、互联、安装以及其他相关标准。由于SEMI之前已发布了相关行业标准，因此对于整个市场的发展、供需问题有极大的影响。
